All Dressed in White

As usual, I have fallen in love with everything at Anthropologie. These white serveware pieces are leaving me short of breath, I need!
How beautiful are these? So shabby fav! I seriously want to invite all my girlfriends over for a tea party.

Crafty Corner

I am still trying to figure out a tablescape for my Christmaka party, here are two idea's from our favorite crafty lady... Martha Stewart:

Such an easy project! Go to the dollar store for cheap pillar candles
and hot glue the cinnamon sticks right on there.

I am also loving the place cards, such a cute easy touch.
Again, all you need is a little dash of mother nature mixed with some good ol' hot glue.

Peeled to Perfection!

OK, so by now I think everyone knows my obsession with handy kitchen tools.

This has me excited...really excited.

I can't tell you how many times I've used my mandolin to julienne carrots and cucumbers only to see part of my finger coming off with vegetable haha! I'm making it seem a bit more dramatic than it is, is pretty dangerous.

This rotary peeler from Joseph Joseph (one of my favorite vendors from Caban) keeps your skin/fingers/other limbs away from the blade and focuses on the task at hand. There are three options on the peeler: a regular peel for potatoes and carrots etc, a julienne option and a serrated blade.

See for yourself!

Turkey Time!

One thing that is extremely important to me when hosting a dinner party is the presentation of food.

With the American Thanksgiving coming up there are tons of ideas on plating your turkey.
Here are a few pics for inspiration; I'm hungry just looking at these!
